Why MEDYRA

One coordinator, instead of ten strangers.

Most people arrive at medical travel through a WhatsApp forward and a hospital email address. We replace that with a single named case manager, a written plan, and a number that answers at 3am India time.

Second opinion first

Before anything else, your reports go to two independent consultants in the relevant speciality. Roughly one in six patients learns the proposed surgery isn't needed — and we tell you that.

Fixed, itemised quotes

Surgeon fee, hospital package, implant brand, ICU days, and the price of an extra night — written down and countersigned by the hospital before you fly. No renegotiation at discharge.

Your language, on the ward

Arabic, French, Russian, Swahili, Bangla and Dari interpreters — assigned to your admission, not shared across a floor. Discharge summaries are translated before you leave.

After you land home

Ninety days of scheduled video reviews with your operating surgeon, plus a referral note formatted for your local doctor. Included, not an upsell.

In their words

What the experience actually felt like

"I had three quotes from India hospitals and no way to compare them. MEDYRA put them in one table, told me which implant each one meant, and which surgeon had done the most of my particular valve. That was the whole value."
Adaeze O. Lagos, Nigeria · Valve replacement
"My mother speaks only Arabic. The interpreter was there at every ward round, not just at admission. She understood her own discharge instructions — I did not have to translate my mother's health to her."
Yusuf H. Amman, Jordan · Knee replacement
"The second opinion said my son didn't need the operation we had flown out to arrange. MEDYRA could have booked it anyway. They told us to go home and re-scan in six months. He is fine."
Elena M. Almaty, Kazakhstan · Paediatric neurology

Common questions

What patients ask before they travel

If your question isn't here, ask it directly. You will get an answer from a person, not a chatbot.

Talk to a case manager

Partner hospitals pay us a fixed coordination fee per admitted patient — the same amount regardless of which hospital you choose or how expensive your treatment is. That structure is deliberate: it means we have no financial reason to steer you toward the costlier option. We publish the arrangement on our contract, and you are welcome to ask any hospital to confirm it.

Your written quote states exactly which complications are covered inside the package price and which are billed separately — typically a defined number of extra ICU days is included. We also arrange optional medical-complication cover through an Indian insurer for roughly 2–4% of the package value. Nobody enjoys this conversation before surgery, which is precisely why we have it in writing beforehand.

Most nationalities can apply for India's e-Medical Visa online, which requires an invitation letter from a recognised hospital. We issue that letter once your consultant confirms a treatment plan — usually within 48 hours. Approval typically takes 3–5 working days. The visa covers you and up to two attendants, and permits three entries over 60 days.

Yes. All partner hospitals allow one attendant to stay in the room overnight, and we book serviced apartments within 10 minutes of the hospital for longer stays — with a kitchen, because hospital food is not everyone's food. Attendant visas are arranged alongside yours.

You pay the hospital directly — never us, and never an intermediary account. Typically a deposit on admission and the balance at discharge, by international transfer or card. We will send you the hospital's own bank details on their letterhead. If anyone asks you to transfer treatment funds to a personal account or an agent, that is a fraud signal; tell us immediately.

For the procedures we coordinate, the leading India centres publish outcome data comparable to accredited hospitals in Europe — and their surgeons often carry higher individual case volumes, because the catchment population is enormous. Where a speciality in India does not meet that bar, we say so and decline the case. We keep a written list of what we do not arrange.

Send your reports. Get a real answer.

No account, no payment, no obligation. Two consultant opinions and an itemised quote, usually inside three working days.
