Why MEDYRA

One coordinator, instead of ten strangers.

One person stays with you from your first message to your last follow-up — not a department, not a rota, but a single named coordinator who learns your case, speaks your language, and remains yours until your treatment is behind you.

Every touchpoint, one owner

Move across any point on the right to see exactly what your case manager holds at that stage — and what you are never asked to chase yourself.

  1. Second opinion first

Before anything else, your reports go to two independent consultants in the relevant speciality. Roughly one in six patients learns the proposed surgery isn’t needed — and we tell you that.

  2. Surgeon and hospital match

Your case goes to the consultant whose operative volume actually matches it, at a JCI- or NABH-accredited hospital — and you are told in writing why that pairing and not another.

  3. Fixed, itemised quote

Surgeon fee, hospital package, implant brand, ICU days, and the price of an extra night — written down and countersigned by the hospital before you fly. No renegotiation at discharge.

  4. Visa letter and embassy file

The hospital invitation letter, the treatment schedule and the covering documents your embassy asks for — assembled and checked before you queue for an appointment.

  5. Flights and arrival

Your landing time goes to the hospital, a named driver meets the terminal, and you have a working local number before you have left the arrivals hall.

  6. Where your family stays

A serviced apartment or hospital guest room inside walking distance of the ward, at the negotiated medical rate rather than the tourist one.

  7. Your language, on the ward

Arabic, French, Russian, Swahili, Bangla and Dari interpreters — assigned to your admission, not shared across a floor. Discharge summaries are translated before you leave.

  8. Admission, theatre and ICU

One case manager holds the whole schedule — pre-op tests, theatre slot, ICU days, the move back to the ward — and tells you the moment any of it moves.

  9. Discharge and your records

An itemised final bill checked line by line against the quote you signed, plus imaging, histopathology and the discharge summary in a folder that stays yours.

  10. After you land home

Ninety days of scheduled video reviews with your operating surgeon, plus a referral note formatted for your local doctor. Included, not an upsell.

In their words

What the experience actually felt like

"I had three quotes from India hospitals and no way to compare them. MEDYRA put them in one table, told me which implant each one meant, and which surgeon had done the most of my particular valve. That was the whole value."

Adaeze O. Lagos, Nigeria · Valve replacement

"My mother speaks only Arabic. The interpreter was there at every ward round, not just at admission. She understood her own discharge instructions — I did not have to translate my mother's health to her."

Yusuf H. Amman, Jordan · Knee replacement

"The second opinion said my son didn't need the operation we had flown out to arrange. MEDYRA could have booked it anyway. They told us to go home and re-scan in six months. He is fine."

Elena M. Almaty, Kazakhstan · Paediatric neurology

"Medra really helped me throughout my surgery, from diagnosis to treatment. The doctors guided me properly and made the whole process much easier and less stressful. I’m genuinely thankful to the Medra team for their care and support. ❤️"

Jennely

"Medra helped me identify my health problem when I was struggling to understand what was wrong. Their doctors guided me through the diagnosis and treatment, and I’m so grateful for the care I received. Today I feel much better, and I truly appreciate Medra for helping me through the entire journey. ❤️"

Lagos India Cardiac

Nine days from a WhatsApp message to a bypass in Saket

Adaeze flew from Lagos with a stack of scans and three conflicting quotes. What changed her mind was seeing them side by side. The difference between the three turned out to be what each had left out, not what each charged. She chose the two-graft plan and the surgeon with 4,800 cases behind him.

Amman India Orthopaedics

Two knees, one trip, and a mother who understood her own discharge notes

Bilateral replacement in a single admission — why it is offered in India and rarely offered at home. The surgeon made the decision conditional on her cardiac workup; it cleared, and she walked with a frame on day two. What Yusuf writes about is not the surgery but the interpreter who attended every ward round.

Almaty India Oncology

The operation we talked a family out of

A facilitator earns money when you have surgery. Here is the case where the honest answer cost us the booking. Both reviewing neurosurgeons read the imaging as a borderline finding in a child with no progressive symptoms. We paid for the consultation, told the family to go home, and wrote to their paediatrician in Almaty.

Common questions

What patients ask before they travel

If your question isn't here, ask it directly. You will get an answer from a person, not a chatbot.

Talk to a case manager

Partner hospitals pay us a fixed coordination fee per admitted patient — the same amount regardless of which hospital you choose or how expensive your treatment is. That structure is deliberate: it means we have no financial reason to steer you toward the costlier option. We publish the arrangement on our contract, and you are welcome to ask any hospital to confirm it.

Your written quote states exactly which complications are covered inside the package price and which are billed separately — typically a defined number of extra ICU days is included. We also arrange optional medical-complication cover through an Indian insurer for roughly 2–4% of the package value. Nobody enjoys this conversation before surgery, which is precisely why we have it in writing beforehand.

Most nationalities can apply for India's e-Medical Visa online, which requires an invitation letter from a recognised hospital. We issue that letter once your consultant confirms a treatment plan — usually within 48 hours. Approval typically takes 3–5 working days. The visa covers you and up to two attendants, and permits three entries over 60 days.

Yes. All partner hospitals allow one attendant to stay in the room overnight, and we book serviced apartments within 10 minutes of the hospital for longer stays — with a kitchen, because hospital food is not everyone's food. Attendant visas are arranged alongside yours.

You pay the hospital directly — never us, and never an intermediary account. Typically a deposit on admission and the balance at discharge, by international transfer or card. We will send you the hospital's own bank details on their letterhead. If anyone asks you to transfer treatment funds to a personal account or an agent, that is a fraud signal; tell us immediately.

For the procedures we coordinate, the leading India centres publish outcome data comparable to accredited hospitals in Europe — and their surgeons often carry higher individual case volumes, because the catchment population is enormous. Where a speciality in India does not meet that bar, we say so and decline the case. We keep a written list of what we do not arrange.

Send your reports. Get a real answer.

No account, no payment, no obligation. Two consultant opinions and an itemised quote, usually inside three working days.
